Loving and looking after an older relative can be difficult to do at the same time.

Are you worried about how much and how well your parents are eating?

Do you worry about how easy it is for them to get around the kitchen?

Yes, we’ve been in that spot too. Would you feel better knowing we have a variety of evening meals, tailored specifically to them?

As our parents get older some may need more support around the house. We’ve found that our older clients accept help easier to combat mobility issue they maybe living with. This can vary from getting a cleaner in to scrub those hard to reach spots, or getting a gardener in so your parents can potter around and enjoy the garden instead of the burden of it’s up keep. 

We want to help you and your parents to continue to enjoy, and hold onto, their independence when it comes to meals.  I Cook You Serve deliver evening meals to households across Northampton that are already prepared and ready to gently reheat. Unlike many other meal services, our meals are delivered at refrigerated temperature not frozen. This makes them quicker to reheat, reducing the amount of time your parents, neighbour or loved one needs to stay on their feet.

Or maybe you’re worried about an older relative who is only eating the same meals? We deliver variety. Our evening meals menu changes weekly. Each menu has a vegan, vegetarian, chicken, fish and red meat option. As well as a homemade soup, spicy rice box and dessert. Your loved one is free to choose to order 4 of the same item but rest assured in knowing they’ll be trying a new dish next week. Our meals are simple. We love a casseroles, we’re partial to a bit of spice and enjoy sharing new ingredients especially when they’re in season.

How does it work?

We have made our ordering a simple and easy to follow as we can. 

Step 1 - Menu release

A menu is released each Wednesday.
Many of our clients Sign up to our newsletter to get it email to them with a link to place an order. Or use a link from our Facebook page.

Step 2 - Choose your dishes

This link takes them directly to our website ordering page, whilst we encourage having a look around our website. We wanted to remove the frustration of not knowing where to place your order.

Step 3 - Ordering

From here, you or your loved one will be able to choose which dish and how many portions they would like.

Go through to the cart page and in your delivery and billing details. Our ordering and payments can be completed through the website or over the phone. Simply call Shannon on 07504 558 994 before 5:30pm Wednesday to Friday.

We also have a notes box for any amendments to their orders, extra vegetables, no rice etc.

Then simply place your order and we’ll send an email to confirm your order.

Step 4 - Delivery

On Monday, we’ll send a reminder email along with storage and heating instruction and send you a message or phone call when you are our next delivery. It’s good to know that we’ll be on the other side of the door shortly with your meals and a smile.

We recommend getting a voucher so that you’re loved one can give our meals a try.

Even once they have tried our meals there is no subscription or financial sign-up. We do advise signing up for our newsletter, so as not to miss the menus, but you can find them on our website or on our Facebook page.

What are the Fill Your Fridge prices?

Our evening meals are £6.50 per meal, £6.50 per spicy rice box,
£7.00 per soup and £3.00 per dessert. Free delivery.

So what if things go wrong?

Well, in the unlikely event of our being unable to meet your order, you will be reimbursed for the meals that have not been received.
We will not be held liable for any related costs due to interruption of supply. In the event of a Force Majeure, no reimbursement will be offered. We reserve the right to change the menu choices but we will keep to your food preferences in mind, should this be required.

What’s the latest I can order?
Last orders are 4pm Friday
Do you deliver?

We offer a free of charge delivery between NN1 – NN5. 

Delivery is between 6:00 pm and 9:00 om on a Monday evening. We will send you a message when you are our next delivery.

Our delivery has a strict distanced doorstep policy, please leave time for us to put your meals at your front door and step back. We cannot enter your premises.

What if I want to cancel my order?

You simply pop an email over to before Saturday 12 noon.
